Flyers Welcome Averi Cuddeback to Volleyball Program

The Sandhills Community College Flyers are excited to announce the addition of Averi Cuddeback, a talented setter from Rosewood High School, to the volleyball program.
Averi has been playing volleyball for seven years, building an impressive resume during her high school career. She was named All-Conference in volleyball and earned three All-Conference selections in soccer. Averi was also involved in basketball, swim, and track, showcasing her versatility and athleticism across multiple sports. Her leadership extends beyond athletics, as she participated in Junior Leadership and volunteered with EMS and Rosewood Little Eagles Athletics.
In her senior season, Rosewood High School achieved an impressive 24-3 record, including an undefeated 10-0 conference run. Averi played travel volleyball with Carolina Performance Volleyball Club.
When asked why she chose Sandhills Community College, Averi said, "The atmosphere and coaching staff at Sandhills are everything I was looking for!" She is eager to embrace her role as a leader both on and off the court while forming strong bonds with her teammates.
Averi looks forward to growing as a player and contributing to the Flyers' success: "My favorite thing about volleyball is the community that is growing more and more every day." She also expressed interest in trying out for the beach volleyball team, further expanding her contributions to the Sandhills program.
Flyers head coach Alicia Riggan says:
"We are thrilled to welcome Averi to the Flyers volleyball team! Her jump setting, her leadership, and her serving skills will be a huge asset to our program. We're excited for what's ahead with Averi on our side!"
