The Sandhills Community College Flyers swept Patrick & Henry Community College in straight sets (25-14, 25-15, 25-9) in a commanding 3-0 victory Thursday evening, sponsored by H2 Volleyball Club. The Flyers' efficient offense was led by standout performances from Caroline Bradford, who recorded 11 kills on a .526 hitting percentage, and Kristin Dodds, who added 9 kills while hitting .227. The Flyers excelled from the service line as well, with Nikki Lambert and Lainey Mullins each tallying 4 aces, contributing to a total of 14 aces for the team. Setter Zoey Hall led the playmaking efforts with 12 assists, while Mariana Clayton added another 12 to facilitate the team's balanced attack. Sandhills will return to the court this Saturday, hosting a tri-match at home. They face Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute (CCC&TI) at 11 a.m., followed by a matchup against USC Lancaster at 3 p.m. CCC&TI will take on USC Lancaster at 1pm between the two Flyers games.
