Flyers Begin Pool Play at the NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.—The Sandhills Community College beach volleyball team is set to kick off its run at the NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship today at John Hunt Park. The Flyers arrived in Huntsville on Wednesday and got their first taste of championship atmosphere with a practice session at the tournament venue followed by an evening of fun and team bonding at the Main Event, which included dinner, bowling, laser tag, and a ropes course alongside the other teams.

Pool play begins this morning, with the Flyers facing Lake Sumter State College at 9:30 a.m. CT (10:30 a.m. ET). Sandhills will return to the sand later in the day to take on State College of Florida at 12:30 p.m. CT (1:30 p.m. ET). The final team in their pool, Wake Tech Community College, will face the Flyers on Friday to wrap up group play.
