Samuel Patterson Honored by NJCAA

Samuel Patterson Honored by NJCAA

The NJCAA has announced that Sandhills Community College freshman Samuel Patterson is the Division III Cross Country Men's Runner of the Week of October 26-November 1.

Patterson finished first in the 8K run at the Region 10 Championship hosted by Patrick Henry CC in Axton, VA on October 31. The Union Pines High School graduate's time of 30:16 was also the fifth best among the overall total of 27 runners, including Divisions I and II.

Patterson and teammates Joshua Patterson and Austin Greene, along with Coach Kyndal Giddens, will be traveling to Fort Dodge, Iowa later this week for the Division III National Championship to be held at Iowa Central Community College on Saturday.
