Flyers Welcome Freeman for Beach Volleyball
Sandhills Community College Flyers volleyball welcomes Emery Freeman to the Flyers family. Freeman, a seasoned player with 10 years of experience, has officially signed a letter of intent to play beach volleyball for the Flyers during the 2024-2025 season. Emery, who hails from Union Pines High School, has excelled as a libero and has an impressive record in various travel volleyball teams, including Sandhills volleyball club, Eastside volleyball, Southern Sand volleyball, and Lee County Slammers.
What sets Emery apart is her dedication to the sport and her desire to continue playing for as long as possible. Having lettered in cheerleading and being an active member of the Spirit Club, she brings a well-rounded enthusiasm to the Flyers.
Coach Alicia Riggan is thrilled to have Emery on board, stating, "Excited to have Emery join our Flyer Beach Volleyball Program. She has a lot of beach experience and will be a great addition for the Fall." Emery is looking forward to making friends who share her passion for beach volleyball and is sure to make a significant impact on the Flyers' beach volleyball program.
