Flyers Men Take Second Consecutive Fall Tournament

The Flyers Men's Golf team delivered another solid performance on Monday and Tuesday at the Jack Ingram Pfeiffer Fall Invitational, demonstrating their skill and composure over two rounds of play. The competition featured seven teams in total, with Sandhills emerging with the top spot.

The Flyers finished with a total team score of 596 strokes, 20 strokes over par, to secure first place. The team's consistent play proved to be a significant advantage.

Ben Read emerged as the standout performer, posting consecutive rounds of 73 for a total score of 146, just 2 strokes over par. Watcharakan Chankarn, another key contributor from the Sandhills team, secured the second position with a total score of 148 strokes, finishing 4 strokes over par.

The Sandhills team's depth was evident in their other members' performances. Daniel Aitken also posted a score of 151 strokes, securing a tie for the fourth position. Meanwhile, Austin May contributed a score of 153 strokes and finished tied for seventh place.

Host Pfeiffer University claimed the second position with a total score of 627 strokes, 51 strokes over par, followed by North Carolina Wesleyan in third place with a total score of 634 strokes, 58 strokes over par.
