Check In/Passes
When each coach arrives at gym please check in at the admission table to receive your Hospitality passes and submit pass list. Only immediate family of coaches and college administrators will be admitted to the games via a pass list. Each team is responsible for turning in a pass list at check in.
Game Recording
Any DVD recording for personal use must be recorded by the individual teams themselves. Filming must take place on the floor or in the upstairs lofted area.
Athletic Training
Services such as taping and wrapping will be provided. Each team brings their own kit or supplies. Water will be provided during the games and ice will be available after. The athletic trainer will be located near the entrance by the training room during games.
Cheerleaders
If you bring cheerleaders, please inform them that it will be necessary for them to dress in their uni-forms at the hotel because all dressing rooms will be utilized by the participating teams. When cheer-leaders are in uniform they will be admitted in free.
BASKETBALL AND VOLLEYBALL GAME MANAGEMENT
Games are played in Heins Gymnasium (The Hangar) on the campus of Sandhills Community College. Parking is available to the Joplin Lot just beside the baseball field. Enter the Dempsey Student Center and The Hangar is around the stairs to the left. Your lockeroom will be located in The Dempsey Center and will be marked. You will be given a key to lock the room during your visit.
OFFICAL SCORER’S TABLE SEATING
One seat will be reserved for a scorer form the visiting team beside the official scorer and is marked so. Should additional spaces be needed for statistics, etc. please make those prior to the game date and every possible effort will be made to accommodate your support- staff. Additional spaces will likely be through an additional table next to your bench
CONCESSIONS
Popcorn, drinks and candy are available at home games.
