Reagan Smith Joining the Flyers for 2024

The Sandhills Community College Flyers volleyball team added 2024 hitter Reagan Smith to their line-up this week. Hailing from Jordan-Matthews High School, Reagan brings an impressive volleyball background with seven years of experience, primarily as a hitter and blocker. Her achievements at the high school level include multiple accolades, such as 1st team all-conference honors for three consecutive years (Sophomore to Senior), all-region recognition in Junior and Senior years, and 1st team all-state recognition as a Junior followed by 2nd team all-state in her senior year.

Reagan's decision to join the Flyers was influenced by the program's excellence and the strong sense of community support. Beyond volleyball, Reagan lettered in softball and basketball during her high school years and played for various volleyball clubs like Chatham United Volleyball Club, Providence Grove Volleyball Club, and Zoo City Cougars.

Sandhills Community College Flyers Head Coach Alicia Riggan expressed her enthusiasm about Reagan joining the Flyer Family, stating, "We're excited to have Reagan join our Flyer Family. She works hard and will be a great asset to the front line with hitting and blocking."
