Next for Coach Alicia Riggan's squad is a 7 p.m. match next Thursday against Central Carolina CC in Sanford.

"The girls started out strong every set which we really liked," the coach said. "We let off the gas in all three sets. We have got to make sure we play every point all the way through."

The closest set of the evening, was the second when the Lancers cut a 20-10 deficit to 23-21 before a pair of kills by Morrigan Denman ended it. Consecutive service aces by Christen Clontz helped the Flyers get off to a 5-1 start in the third on the way to wrapping up the team's fifth three-set victory of the season.

Statistically, Carley Modlin led the Flyers with 13 kills and two blocks. Morrigan Denman finished with 10 kills and nine digs. Setter Camryn Lowe was credited with 31 assists and libero Mariah Daffron contributed 14 digs.
