Flyers Top Jaguars in First of Five Game Homestand

In last night's matchup between the Sandhills Community College Flyers and Johnston Community College, the Flyers secured a decisive 102-77 victory in The Hangar.

The Sandhills Flyers displayed an impressive offensive performance, shooting 50.6% from the field. Damien Robinson stood out with a double-double, contributing 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Ayden Gittens also played a pivotal role, scoring 22 points and making crucial plays on both ends of the court.

The Flyers dominated the boards with a total of 51 rebounds, showcasing their strength in rebounding. The team's cohesive play was evident, with a total of 33 assists, highlighting their teamwork and ball movement.

On the defensive end, the Flyers demonstrated their prowess, forcing Johnston Community College into 13 turnovers and recording 9 steals. Jamori McDougald showcased his all-around skills with 7 assists and 1 steal, contributing to the Flyers' defensive efforts.
