Flyers Top Lancers on the Road

In a thrilling match-up at Lenoir Community College Wednesday night, the Flyers exhibited remarkable teamwork and offensive prowess, securing a well-earned victory with a final score of 91-83. On the night, the Flyers shot a commendable 45.2% field goal percentage.

Key players contributing to the victory included Zach Riddle, who displayed accuracy going six for nine from the field, accumulating 12 points, and Ayden Gittens, dominating the paint with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Jamori McDougald played a pivotal role, recording 8 points, 6 assists, and 1 steal in 28 minutes of play.

The Flyers were six of 22 beyond the arc with McDougald and Jashaun Torrence leading the way. Additionally, the team displayed a strong performance at the free-throw line, boasting a 76.0% success rate.

Looking ahead, the Sandhills Community College Flyers will host Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute on Saturday at 3 pm in The Hangar.
